Q: If my customer copies a protected file to another PC, will it ask for new Activation Code?
A: Yes. If your file is protected with Hardware Based Activation Code - it may only be opened on PC where is has been activated. To use your file on new PC, customer must enter new Activation Code.

Q: I have an Add-In written in VBA, can I use LockXLS to protect it?
A: Yes. LockXLS protects .xla and .xlam files the same as other spreadsheets. LockXLS Help Library has sample project Protect Addins using LockXLS which shows how locked addin works.

Q: I want to allow customer 10 trial runs of my software, is that possible with LockXLS?
A: You can limit trial period by time or by number of trial runs. Also, you can combine both options. When your project is registered, you can also limit the license by count of runs. Allow to open workbook not more then N times topic in the LockXLS Help Library describes this feature.

Q: I'm using international version of Excel, will LockXLS Runtime support it?
