What is the difference between xlCompiler and LockXLS
xlCompiler converts your Excel file to application that is completely independent from Excel. This is spreadsheet compiler you need to distribute your Excel files.
This is FREE 30-day full featured evaluation version. If you are upgrading LockXLS to the newer version,
you also should download this setup. New LockXLS will use registration from the previous one.
LockXLS Runtime is a COM Add-in for Excel, used to open workbooks compiled by LockXLS. This setup is free. You can distribute this setup with your workbooks.
Important: If you are using Excel 365 (or previous versions) 64-bit, you should download 64-bit Runtime Module. This is the most common case.
For all other versions of Excel you should install 32-bit version.
