Show\Hide LockXLS Runtime menu in Excel.

LockXLS Runtime adds it's popup menu to Excel (in Excel 2007 you will see LockXLS tab on ribbon). This menu contains items to register workbook and to manage external data (save/load). If your workbook is locked with the Hardware Based Activation Code option, this menu could not be hidden - customer should have ability to register your spreadsheet. But External Data buttons could be shown or hidden. By default LockXLS does not show them. To have these buttons available for every workbook, opened in Excel, please do the following:

  • Download this archive
  • Extract enable_menu.reg file
  • Open it on your PC (Registry editor will import settings from this file into registry)

After this LockXLS menu will be shown.

To hide this menu - download and open on your PC other file.
